Trained as gilder and frame restorer, I make moulds in order to restore broken areas of gilded decoration on mirror frames and furniture. I am proficient in oil and water gilding on many surfaces such as gesso, wood, metal and glass. I also make veneer, ivory and mother of pearl repairs on wooden furniture and artefacts.I have excellent colour- matching skills and can restore decorative painted finishes on most surfaces.
